Okay, so I'm checking my FeedDemon RSS updates (the best RSS Reader on planet earth...actually I do have a few secondary favorites but FeedDemon is my favorite) and I happen upon a find from Scripting News about a new and innovative search engine for Podcasts called Podscope.
New Podcast Search Engine Podscope is very unique and bleeding edge in that they are the first search engine that actually allows you to search for spoken words within any audio or video file. Er...that would mean that you would want to mention your keywords specifically within your audio and video stream for search optimization? Hmmmm... Just got finished viewing this podcast video by Paul Colligan of Podcasttools.com. Very nicely done. Podcasting can be done with a variety of audio tools and software. Paul shows you his setup and how to subscribe to a podcast. Watch Video Series 3 for a very well done video overview of how to subcribe to a podcast. Great job Paul! more »

The Pew Internet & American Life Project published a study yesterday that 29% of 22 million iPod/Mp3 player owners downloaded podcasts representing more than 6 million people tuning in to various podcasts. The report does not however seek to identify what types of podcasts are being listened to. |
