In the previous item I published my lates Podcast "Blogged In 60 Seconds". I talk about BlogDiggers new Media Search component.

Well, BlogDigger has been added to Ping-O-Matic as the latest ping updated server. As soon as I pinged them my first ever "official" podcast I did this week on December 7, 2004 immediately showed up literally in seconds. Probably slightly more than just a minute. This was after I checked a search for my term before pinging and I got absolutly NADA. Nuthin'!

The goes demonstrates the importance of pinging and the velocity of blog content and blog directories. I wonder what dynamics go on the background between a service like BlogDigger who can grab content so fast and Google spiders looking the latest, greatest, freshest content?

God I love blogging... :D

Thanks to John Keegan of BlogHarbor.com for the tip and assistance with file compression. It (audio file) got smaller however, if you listen to the podcast I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say...I still have a ways to go in mastering sound mixes. :D

The tip on using Audacity for audio editing was great. Thank you.
