An incredibly interesting article by the Corante blog on tagging integration that Infoworld.com has implemented in a recent upgrade to their article pages. Apparently they are creating their own tags with Delicious and feeding them into their web site. They are then using custom matching logic internal to their system to match the tags with article content and automatically publishing related links info. Interesting indeed. Give this one a good read.
Ever seen this (clipped from Technorati.com)?
Visit Technorati Tags or Flickr Tag pages for a closer look. Visit CommonCraft blog for a short musing on what the heck this list is all about. :-)
Tagvertising...maybe. What is Steve Rubel saying? (Yeah, I like Steve)
Post I made last month on some observations I have about the potential power of Technorati Tags for blog promotion.
News by Search Engine Watch about myGmaps which allows you annotate your Google Maps using tags. Cool stuff!
Again by Search Engine Watch, they highlight Newsweek coverage about Tags. This article goes more into a vocabularies and builds out from the discussion on tagging so make sure you visit the first 2 or 3 links they provide for a good background discussion of tagging especially with the Newsweek article. Good stuff but may be more than required for the initiated.
The Social Software Weblog discusses the merits of tagging and as a grow social phenomenon. Short post with a couple of links out to additional coverage on tagging and tagging services.
A more in-depth article by Steve Rubel as published by WebPro News on Tagvertising. Good article.

Fantastic post by Amy Gahran of Contentious blog. She goes into quite a bit of detail about the application of tagging for social networking and content promotion. This one is really a great read.
